Geiranger is a small tourist village in Sunnmøre region of Møre og Romsdal county in the western part of Norway. The population of the town is about 300 inhabitants, but during the summer the population grows seven times. The main industry of the town is tourism. The village is visited yearly by more than a hundred cruise ships. The nearest city to Geiranger is Ålesund.
